Convertible Top Cylinder

  • Connects to the Convertible Frame Lift Lever and the Convertible Top Hoses
  • Extends via pressure from the fluid transferred by the hoses
  • Replaces a worn or failed cylinder to restore functionality to the convertible top
  • Constructed from a light-weight aluminum casing with a durable steel rod

Mustangs, Etc. Recommends: replacing top cylinders in pairs.  If one cylinder puts out more pressure than the other and the top doesn't go up or down evenly, there is a good chance of tweaking the convertible top frame!
