1968 Mustang or Cougar Door Hinge Core - Passenger/Upper - Used

This used 1968 Mustang or Cougar Passenger Side Upper Door Hinge Core is an OEM door hinge from Ford Motor Co. These used hinge cores will need to be rebuilt with new pins and bushings after purchase, and rebuild kits are available in the Related Products section. These hinges are made from stamped steel and weigh approximately 1 pound less than their cast iron predecessors from early 1967 models. Used, OEM hinges frequently offer superior fitment to reproduction hinges, and anyone that’s had to fit a door, trunk or hood on a classic car knows the problems a poorly fitting hinge can create.

Purchasing Sets:  Door hinge cores can be purchased as sets of 2 or 4 for discounted prices.

Customers should expect to receive an item that is in good enough condition to rebuild successfully, however these items have not yet been rebuilt by our shop.
